36x20” mixed media on canvas. Exotic LMG from Destiny 2 Shadowkeep expansion.
I originally worked on this based on photos of the amazing prop model of this exotic shown at GuardianCon 2018. I tried to manipulate the photos to get a proper side view and ended up foreshortening the barrel/barrel covering incorrectly and making the stock too thicc. But I got the colors down pat and I was keen to give it another shot. After Bungie released an amazing graphic of the weapon, I was able to get the proportions right and finally transform this design into a painting.
